Today was one of the toughest days of my life. If they have been covering the loss of Casey on your news you will want to watch it tonight! So impressed with the turn out. Being friends with most of the Pontiac Police Officers, Livingston County Sheriffs Department, and the Pontiac Fire Department it was a touching day. Our gym at the High School was STUFFED with law enforcement from all over! Even surrounding states! The first ones in the line were about 30-40 K-9 handlers with their dogs! It was so hard but Heaven has gained two great angels! Rest in Peace my friend you will be missed. Thanks! DAWG

I feel your pain brother. K9 officers are brothers regardless of jurisdictions. If his family is in need of monetary support please message me

Thank you Bronson! I was so impressed with the whole turnout. I worked for Livingston County Sheriffs Department for 2 1/2 years and Pontiac is the county seat. Then I was on the Pontiac Fire Department for 4 1/2 as a volunteer and now I am a Sgt at the Illinois Department of Corrections-Pontiac Correctional Center for the past 18 years. I was born and raised here in Pontiac a town of 12,000 roughly. So everyone knows almost everyone. We all stick together and that is what I like. I am really proud of my fellow staff at Pontiac for what they did. It makes me proud to be one of their leaders. Here is the picture of our staff out front of the prison as they brought Casey and Draco by! All the cars and vans had the red and blues going with the wig wags!
