This past December I went up to hunt with some friends in SW Georgia, as I often do, and one of my buddies told me he had a nice buck he wanted gone of a piece of property because he was pushing some of the bigger bucks off the property. He showed me the trail cam pics, and I was happy to help try and take this "cull" buck. It was a great hunt, as I saw deer throughout the entirety of the hunt, it was simply one of those awesome mornings that happen during the rut, everything was just, right. Without ruining everything that happened, the "cull" buck ended up scoring 126" and was 5.5yo, weighing 230lbs. He was my biggest buck to date, without further delay, enjoy the hunt below!
Great footage and congrats on your first GA buck! I have yet to score one bigger than yours up here in the NW GA...
Thanks bud, glad you enjoyed it! That SW area of Georgia has some giants cruising around. A couple of my friends there have 140" minimums in place for their properties, most of the people in that area stick to that management tactic....around 130-140" buck get to walk, and as a result there area good amount of them in the area. Always nice when you can get on the same page with surrounding landowners/hunters.
Thanks guys, glad to hear yall enjoyed it! Feel free to swing by and check out the YouTube channel and/or FB page to keep up with all of our hunts. Thanks again for watching!
That was epic Dude. Nice job on the cull. Thanks for videoing it and sharing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Very nice buck. I have a friend that lives in Georgia and he says any buck down there over 120" is a trophy for that region.
