So I got a call from the taxidermist yesterday saying my fox mount was done. I shot this guy while on a duck hunt last waterfowl season. He came out of the cat tails and was stalking 2 mallards that were walking the shore line. I jumped out of the blind and put a stalk on him and got to about 10 yards.
We have to coyotes mounted, I want to get a fox - they look nice. Good job on getting him before he got the birds. I like the way you got it mounted. Certain spot you are putting it?
Thanks, yea they're pretty cool looking. I haven't decided yet where to put him, but have a few spots in mind...decisions decisions lol

Awesome mount. A few years ago we were field hunting geese in the late season and had a fox come in to try and kill one of our decoys. Needless to say he got a few rounds of BB in him. I've shot a lot of foxes around here and none are ever worth mounting. Usually all scraggly and mangy looking. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
