well, this is my short story. I always liked hunting with a bow, I was hunting with a rifle, but I was more attracted to this. and last November I bought my first bow, I decided to compound bow-Bear Mauler, for me this is a very good bow, I bought it through ebay, because for me there is no trade with such equipment. for a while I bow equipped with better things, new rest, sight, quiver etc.. and finally I started to train. meaning I had to start over again, I'd never shoot at the bow. I practiced and practiced .... and finally came hunting season for roe buck. A month and a half the first time I shot the roe buck and I missed it .... but I did not give up but I kept practicing. and yesterday ... finally .. I'm sitting in my tree stand, and about 8 o'clock in the evening comes my first buck with my left hand and stops directly in front of me, draw the bow, aim ... twang! fell in place ... and I'm standing up and I can not believe I hit him ... distance is 34 yards ... oh my god ... still do not believe. I go down the tree because I see that he's dead, I approach and see an arrow right behind the right shoulder, hit a little higher, broadhead has affected her spine ... that's fine, I do not look for it. I knelt down beside him and gave him a tribute .. put him oak leaf in his mouth and thanked the goddess Diana in such a wonderful hunt. and that's it. I want to thank this site and forum! you guys help me alot, i reed yours thread and learn so much about bow hunting. thank you and god bless you, and god bless america!! i put some pics!! and sorry for my bad english!

Congrats on a beautiful animal and your first bowkill! From what I understand about roe deer (which isn't very much), that looks to be a very nice buck. Great job!
Congrats. That is a fine roe buck, especially for your first bow kill. That is something you will never forget. Keep sharing, I'm always curious to see what folks are hunting on the other side of the pond.
