A group of friends and myself took a guided hunt in Hyde County, NC...waterfowl capital of the state, this past Friday and Saturday (8th & 9th) with Dare to Hyde. This was my first guided hunt (of any kind) and I didn't know what to expect but we had such a great time that when we got home, we went ahead and booked again for next year. Although the weather wasn't right for the birds, we still saw thousands and killed quite a few. Attached are a few pics. The first morning's hunt with a few shovelers and teal With only 3 minutes of shooting light on the last day, I put down another Tundra Swan
Sorry for the late response. Illinibowhunter: not that good. Granted, I prob. didn't cook and prepare it right but even when you cut the breast meat out, it's almost a purple color and smells bad. So that could have also had an effect on my tastebuds.
Yes, I did. I definitely recommend going with them. I don't know if you have Instagram, but if you do, follow them. They killed an 11 man limit this morning alone.
