Saturday, I made my first food-plots. They(3) are NOT huge(30 yds X 75 yds) but, I did do my homework and hard-work to ensure success. I really can't believe, how much of a rewarding feeling that comes from them.

I have NO expectations they owe me a deer...I just wanted to put back for once in my life.

    Good luck,

Food plots can be great learning tools and in my case, a creative outlet. My job has me planting food plots to try to not get them to grow. Yes, you read that right. Even though I know what usually is best to ensure plot success, with any new products, if they grow doing things the wrong way, they usually thrive when one does them the right way.

It can be great stress relief. It can be one's way of being a farmer, if for but a few hours or days a year. It also can be a great learning experience as well as help you tilt the table in your favor to harvest a deer.
