Put the cam out on a drumlog I found last year. This is the first time I set up on this log. Put the camera out the day before yesterday and checked it yesterday, 2 gig memory card was full.
These were some of the better ones. I went back last night and adjusted the cam a little to try and get a better angle. All taken with a Sony S600 Homebrew and a Yeti control board.
    Nice grey phase Ruffy...

Man I wish I had the whole bird in this one... Full fan anyway.

Hope to get some better ones with my new angle.
    Take care

Outstanding photos! How far away was the subject from the camera?

That's really cool! I never thought about doing that. How did you know it was a drum log? Did you see one drumming on it?

Thanks guys - the camera is only about a foot and a half away from where he drums. There just happened to be a sapling there I could put the cam on.
I found this log last year when turkey hunting - they use the same logs year after year. You'll see a bunch of grouse poop on it.

    Totally cool.

Back in college, part of my internship was finding drum active drum logs. It was actually a lot of fun. :)

    Amazing pics,

When i purchase a homebrew this fall, its def. going to be a Sony S600. A p41 cant compare to that.

Really impressive pictures and learned something new about the drum logs...In reality it makes sense. After all I have a turkey strutting zone that has never been missed since I found it. Great stuff!!!! Here is one of my old ones, but your picture quality blows it out of the water for sure.
