shot my first buck last year, and this year i got my first doe.Shot her saturday, the last day of regular firearms season with my 12g and a 3'' mag slug. sorry its not with my bow:p meat is meat right?! I was just slowly walking alond a quad trail when 4 does ran out and crossed the trail then i stood still waiting for more. 20 seconds later she came slowly walking out having no idea i was there about 15 yards away. i stoped her and bang! i blew both lungs up and she still managed to run aboud 70 yards. I finally found her in some of the thickest thorny mess you can imagine. i had to cut my way in just to get to her lol. She is a huge doe. My freezer is full. Gotta make room tho, second archery season starts the Dec. 26th!
