Back when I was 13 (my first year hunting) I was blessed with a beautiful buck that I had taken with a shotgun. It happened on a rainy morning where the rest of my hunting crew headed for cover without letting me know. An hour into the hunt I saw this buck trailing 4 doe and I dropped him dead in his tracks. Once I made sure he was down I went to my step dads tree stand but found it empty. After a 700 yard sprint I found everyone sitting around drinking a coffee. When I walked in they asked me if I didn't feel like toughing out the rain either. I said it wasnt the rain that brought me back, its that buck I have laying on the ground. I dont think I have ever seen grown men jump up so fast. This was drawn up by one of our members here however I wont disclose who unless they want me to. You did a great job on drawing what I was thinking. Thanks!
