This was my fiance's first deer. She took it with a muzzleloader. I know its a gun kill but it was one of the best hunts I have ever been on My favorite hunt ever. Last October with her first archery kill. Captured it all on video too. It was probably a future Booner but oh well
That's a really nice one for her first buck. This is a bowhunting site, but it doesn't matter what weapon is used. I like seeing success. And getting someone new into the outdoors is great. Especially, if it's your spouse. You can have a hunting partner for life. I've been trying to get my wife interested, but no luck. She's not strong enough pull back a bow set at #30 and she don't like the cold. I know you guys aren't the only ones that use other methods to hunt. Heck, I'm waiting for the game & fish to open up rock season here. I'll start chunking rock at them.
