I emailed my dealer a couple of days ago to see if there was any news on when my Hyperforce would be shipped. He replied and said it should be here 3/28 or 3/29, both are my days off!!!!! Hope they make it here on those dates! Can't wait to get it setup and start shooting it. I ordered a 40-50lb draw weight, #2 cams, and 27.5" draw length. I'm working my way up from 40lbs to 50lbs draw weight. Just turned 70 3 weeks ago. Getting back into archery after a 55 year break.

What's a 55 year break when you got diesel running through your veins? You sir are a bad man. Never to late to get back in the game.

Before Sept. 2017, the last time I shot a bow was around 1966 with my cousins Bear 30lb recurve. Back in them days I had more muscle than fat!! 30lbs was no big deal. I didn't do any dear hunting with a bow. My dad did the dear hunting for the family. I hunted small game, mainly grouse and squirrels with rifle, shotgun, or pistol. Once in a while I'd get a younger groundhog, they make a good stew. Just have to get the younger ones. The old ones get very tough!! Also got some snowshoe rabbits in the winter.

My son in law wants me to go deer hunting with him this year using blinds. I have bad knees and can't climb trees safely. Have to stay on the ground. Don't know if I'll make it this year but maybe next year. Need much more practice before I start flinging arrows at deer!! But I'm having a great time just practicing and shooting at targets.

The bow shop and a bow set at 50lbs draw weight with a 28 in draw length. I was able to get my anchor point, steady the sight, and shoot the arrow. But a bunch of my joints went snap, crackle, and pop. Sounded like a box of Rice Crispies. The shop owner laughed so hard he about fell over!!!!

My new Hyperforce bow was finally delivered to my dealer on Wed of this week!!!! It's been 5 months and 1 week since he ordered it. I have today off so am headed to the bow shop to get it and the dealer is going to set it up for me. It has Realtree Edge camo, #2 cams, 40-50lb limbs, and 27.5 in draw length. I'm having it set to 40-42lb draw weight and will be working my way up to 50lbs.

Here's a few pictures of my Hyperforce bow. I love the bow. The balance is dead on at the grip, no hand shock or vibration of any type that I could feel. Very dead in the had after the shot. It doesn't need a stabilizer shoots just fine without one. I need the stab to help steady MY shots and it helps me a lot. It was worth the wait but I won't wait this long ever again!!! My bow was nothing special and I have NO idea why it took so long to get it. But I do love the bow.
