Well nothing again tonight. Kind of starting to get frustrated with this. Yesterday I moved my stand to a spot that I watched 12 deer come out of 2 days prior. 7 deer came out of this same spot the day before that. I'm thinking It's not going to take no time right? Yeah right! Yesterdays sit came up empty and this evenings sit they all (7 of them) came out west of me 40 yards. Time to move the stand again, I gotta do something. Tomorrow evening Is my last hunt for probably a good 5 days. I can't believe how hard this Is getting to be trying to get a doe. Never have I had to work this hard getting a doe besides the late season last year when we had 3 feet of snow on our land and 90% of the deer had left. For sure though I'm getting out there early tomorrow (2ish) and moving my stand west where they've been coming out the last 2 evenings.

When you don't want to shoot a doe there all over close It seems. Here's the kicker, 5 of these doe's and fawns went to where I had my stand up the 1st time. 10 yards from It.

It's getting worse. About 5:45 this evening the farmers brother In law shows up on his golf cart riding It through the heart of the woods. He see's me on the edge of the woods and drives over and says, your hunting eh? I said yep. I never knew he bow hunted but he had his bow with him. I was talking quiet while he was talking normal. I told him that I had permission to be out here and that I didn't know he (meaning him) bow hunted. He said I don't bow hunt very much but he knew that I was out here. He and I talked a bit and had a friendly conversation. He then says I'll go to my next spot and drives off. Why do people have to drive these types of things to their hunting spots? Don't anyone use their legs anymore? Man are hunters getting lazy these days. I deal with people using 4 wheelers bear hunting and I can't stand them In the woods, guess that's why this bugged the hell out of me. Oh well, not much one can do about It.

Saw one deer surprisingly, a young buck that came by at 10 yards. He got the pass.

Great read!! Love every minute of this time!! It goes by to quick!!

My 5 yr old daughter got to help my son and I track a doe last year. She's now taken to putting post-it notes in the archery catalogs so she can show me the bow, release, clothes, arrows, nocks, fletching, etc she wants. Oh, forgot to say all the stuff has Pink on it somewhere!! Can't wait until she can go with us!!
