My Dad's first buck

    Took my dad hunting yesterday. I gave him his choice of two stands that are usually good spots. Legal shooting light started at 6:37. At 7:16 I got a text (my Dad doesn't do texting, so this is a big deal). He finally got his first buck! What a day. I'm still so excited I don't even know what else to type lol
    Here's some pics, starting with some of the blood trail. Shot it quartering to slightly with crossbow and rage hypodermic. Went about 80 yrds and dropped over

    Tell your dad, great deer and congradulations. In away im really glad that they have allowed cross bows during archery in the regular season. It has allowed some people that felt they weren't strong enough or accurate enough to continue hunting. O r start hunting for the first time. I bet that's going on the wall.
