This is what 200" of PVC looks like after you cut and paint it. Here's the schematic for anyone who needs the dimensions. If you can't find the 1.5" slip-slide "Ts", as I couldn't, that are used at the top joint, substitute two 1.5" regular "Ts" Blessings........Pastorjim
except yours broke my stabilizer, ****! Lol I think if you would've had the wider base like this that wouldn't have happened.
I really didn't remember what yours looked like Jim. The one thing I do remember, and I almost did, was the 45 degree elbow you used for the feet. I didn't remember the color of yours at all. Blessings........Pastorjim
3 bows , 2 on one side and you took yours off thus making it uneven and resulting in it falling over.
Both of you guys' creations look awesome... think I'll jump on the bandwagon and make one. A few technical questions first though: 1) What type of paint did you use? 2) Did you spray or brush it on? 3) Does the paint scratch off easily? 4) Did you paint it before or after assembling it? I know... it's only for personal use and it's not like a commercial one - but I was just wondering. Why? Because after constructing it one likes to 'show it off'
I just picked some spray paint at Lowes....nothing special. If you put a coat of clear on it, it will be less likely to peel or scratch as easy. I definitely painted everything before assembly. Blessings..........Pastorjim
I think I'm gonna try my hand at making one of these also. It will really come in use since the girlfriend is shooting a bow now also.
