My Crazy hunting morning

    Well I ended up shooting 2 deer this morning, a decent MI buck and a doe. I shot 3 deer in two days. I am done hunting this year, we are having a lot of family issues that needed to be address and i cannot take any time of work for the first time in many years. I told myself the first decent 2.5 year old I was going take it and be done.

    I shot a doe also this morning, she died in the river and I went in to get her with my canoe. I tipped the canoe over trying to get her out in the middle of the river, swimming in fleece blows and the water was really cold. SOB, LOL

    Trust me as cold as that water was, me being naked would have been funny:fro:

    I can tell you swimming in fleece and cold water was pretty scary, I can laugh now, but for about 3 mins I was not sure I was going to make to shore.

    Geez is every day an adventure for you or what ??? LOL Congrats on the buck and does. Next time though... throw up a warning that the picture is not suitable for kids, men and god knows what all . Not what I want to see on a Sunday nor any other day for that matter !! LOL :)

    Buck is posted in the scorer thread, it's funny now. In all honesty about half way to shore I was not sure I was going to make it. Then I put my feet down and started laughing.
