I spent last spring building an approximate 1/4 acre food plot. I limed it, fertilized it and planted Frigid Forage Big and Beasty clover mix with a brasica cover crop. The drought kind of all but killed it, or so I thought. So this year I frost seeded it with Antler King Pure Trophy clover mix.

Here it is 4-19 -13 when I frost seeded it/

The week of 4-28-13 when I put up my turkey blind.

6 days later after some warmer weather. 5-4-13.

There's some turkeys around also as the water hole is 75 yards from my blind.

Impressive, I usually dread reading your posts, I usually get the I wants for a new tractor. Looks like a nice plot.

I had that for years! Best thing I ever bought. It's my new best friend!

    Thanks.

    Greg,

This looks real good especially since the spring we have had. I can only hope in a few weeks I can see something similar by me. Keep us updated on how it progresses.

Looking great!. Nice spot/water hole. I admit last years weather was horrible. This year is looking pretty good both for rain coming and also Apple Trees are looking promising. Please keep us updated.
(If you have any questions regarding the Antler King products feel free to drop me a PM.)

Haha, sorry, no Duckweed or Aquatic plants. I can refer you to a guy in Wisconsin that does pond plantings though :) . Neat stuff.
