I really feel sorry for my brother. His fishing for salmon on Lake Michigan is his passion like deer hunting is mine.

He is on vacation this week to be in our local salmon fishing contest. He has worked on his boat and equipment for over a year. Big boat, walk around cabin, carries 20+ poles, V-8 engine and all of the electronics you can get. In May he had an Autopilot installed and it self destructed on the first day of the contest. Then he slipped off of the dock and totally scraped his whole shin! He's a bit of a klutz.

And now.... He was showing his son some horses at my dad's girlfriends farm. She lets the neighbors keep them there. There were three horses and my brother was feeding them grass. He thinks that one got jealous or something and it reached over the fence, bit him on the cheek and through him on the ground! My brother weighs over 240! He's got a knot on the side of his jaw like half a golf ball and some pretty deep cuts as well. It sucks to be him!!

Nice vacation, I think I'd prefer work!

I hate horses. My sister has 5, and I won't touch them. Glad he's ok.

Ouch! I hope there's no permanent damage.

Horses, motorcycles, trampolines, backyard football... all good for my business.

ouch...That sucks, hope it heals up fast. Sounds like it was murphy's law at the salmon contest.

Horses can definitely be unpredictable. My neighbor down the road from the farm has a lot of horses. There is one horse that I will never turn my back to. The others are very nice, he is crazy.

Dang man, that's rough! That's a big ol' jawbone to be clamping down on your face... Hope he gets well soon.

    Thanks guy's!

He's doing much better today. I think the Dr.'s got it cleaned up pretty good. Have to keep watch for infection. I hope the rest of his vacation goes a little smoother for him.
