Well my oldest son has finially made the varsity wrestling team. Sam my 14 yr old 9th grader has his first showing as a Varsity wrestler. He is going to have some super tough competion at this tourney as I believ the No. 1 and 4 kids at 103 lbs. in the state are going to be there. Sam you can do it, give them hell on Sat. I'll be the loud one in the stands. Your No. 1 fan.

Good luck to your son. I wrestled from the age of 5 up into college, great sport. He'll never loose the wrestler mentality, it will serve him well. tell him to keep his head up and stay postive.

5th place finish! Lost to the no. 1 kid by pin in the second (but scored points). Was down 7-4 when he went to his back. Lost to a Junior from Perham (no. 10 team in state) 4-2 going into the last, Sam just ran out of gas. Lost 9-2. Got a bye due to forfit into the 5th place match and took it to em' 10-0 he looked good. Im proud of ya kid. He gets the kid from Perham on Th. in a duel, things may be a bit different.

I am at the other end of the spectrum TeeJay, I'm cheering for rolling over and gummy grins, I love it though. Good luck Sam.
