My boots stink!!!!

    Never put your boots in the tote while wet/sweaty. Boot dryer, powder. And I know some guys will say I'm nuts but I often spray a couple bursts of scent killer spray in them. If it supposedly kills bacterial elsewhere, can't hurt in there.

    I use the ddw boot powder and baking soda and activated carbon when things get out of hand. I also keep panty hose filled with activated carbon in each boot.

    I take it the panty hose you just use the pebble size carbon like for aquariums right? The powder stuff I bet would just slip through no?

    I also use the powder carbon + baking soda as well.

    That's my regimen as well! It also helps to have multiple pairs of boots to rotate in and out so you're sure they get adequately dried before wearing them back into the field

    U can try boot dryer or soda but I think the problem is in boots material. I have rubber cool boots and they didn't stink. They're super comfortable and look great with most outfits. They're also great for anything from long hikes to everyday casual wear.
