    Well beings bow season is just around the corner I decided it was time to drag out my pack and do some checking over everything. I decided to do a quick write-up. So, here's a list and pictures of what goes into my pack.

    Pack: Badlands 2800 Max-1

    1. Platypus 1 Liter Bladder
    2. FrontierPro Water Straw. Hooks up to Platypus or Camel Back. 50 Gallons
    3. 72oz. Camel Back

    Group 2: Cooking/Eating System

    2. Snowpeak Litemax Titanium Stove
    3. Primus 4-Season Fuel

    Group 3: First Aid/ Extra Clothes

    4. Stocking Cap for Sleeping in

    I have not included food as that can change from trip to trip. My main staples usually include;

    Breakfast:
    Instant oatmeal
    Instant Coffee or Broth

    Lunch/Snacks:
    Wilderness Athlete Energy Gels
    Trail Mix
    Granola Bars
    Peanut, Bacon, and Honey Wraps..delicious!
    Snickers

    Dinner:
    Mountain House meals, supplemented with instant brown rice
    Top Ramen with dehydrated hamburger or chicken

    Hope this may help anyone heading west this year, feel free to ask any questions, or add suggestions! I'm sure I missed something.

    That is awesome! So is that stove a self lighting stove?

    I am super excited for elk season too, was watching some of my Elknut videos last night!

    No, the stove is lit by lighter. Total weight is only 1.9 oz. Super light weight, 4 min boiling time

    Ok, cool. I saw the fire starter for your emergency kit, but no light and was just going to suggest something to easily start a fire. Looks like you got it under control! Good luck!
