My biggest buck yet! Opening day success!!

    IMG_1227.jpg S IMG_1228.jpg Shot my biggest buck so far today. Western NY 45 min east of Buffalo. Didn't see one doe all day. This was the third decent buck I saw on the day. And he's more than decent. Spotted a decent 8 point at about 6:25 pm tonight about 100 yards away. Little did I know this bruiser was right behind him. Watched him for a good 15 minutes. Felt like an eternity! The smaller buck walked right past me at 15 yard and I was praying this guy would follow the same path. Sure enough we walk by and gave me a quartering away shot at 20 yard. Double lung! He ran about 70 yards stopped, wobbled, then went down. An amazing hunt and best opening day I've ever had
