Justin Great buck bud and a great picture. That should be the way pictures should be taken, that way we get to see the true animal as it lays. The size is not inflated when it's on par with your body. Good job Justin. Rocky
Thanks guys! It was a great hunt. 29 degrees, N wind, first time into that stand. Mike was running the camera and we caught the whole thing on film. Shot was a touch forward, but the Hellrazor punched through his shoulder with no problem and he only made it about 50 yards before tipping over on film. And he was only 50 yds from the field edge, which made for an easy drag! This is brand new farm for us and only the 3rd day we've spent on stand there. We had 5 or 6 photos of this buck from July to the end of September but he disappeared after that. We called him "Hitch" b/c the first photos we got of him were on July 27th, which is Mike's wedding anniversary. We were actually targeting another buck on this particular set who we thought was using the area, but this guy showed instead. Not sure if he was cruising through, or if he was the buck bedding in this area all along. Anyways, thanks again everyone. He's not a giant by some standards, but he's a still my best buck and he'll make a great addition to the wall in my office! :D
Congrats again on the buck my friend.. I was happy to be a part of it. We gots November still ahead of us and more bucks to lay our hands on.. but we have to find them first!
