Are you hunting near Spring Green? I had a nealry identical buck on cam a few times last season also, but I am hunting between Highland and Avoca. Weird!

Great buck, I drive through Spring Green and Plain to get to my hunting land and there are some studs roaming those woods!

I like how he has a really thick neck, showing his maturity. Nice looking buck there; a shooter on any given day :tu:

I think i may have seen this feller later on during rifle season but i'm not sure about that. my stand was overlooking our valley and i could make out a real large buck in my scope about 150 yds away trotting across the valley floor but i couldnt really get a good look in the scope. i didn't get enough time to get off a shot, plus there was far too much brush in my way so i had to let him walk :tu:. but, come next yr, if that buck chooses to cross my boundary, he will be MINE!! :nana: :nana: :nana:

It was probably during the rut and he was hunting himself looking for does.

well in the pic theres a stand about 20 ft to the left of him and i've seen plenty of other decent bucks in that location. but this one is the champ so far

yeah, i think this was during the rut which may explain the 1 time sighting. sure wish they would stay longer though. on my cams i see mostly does and fawns so i think my valleys are primarilty doe areas.

BUT nice thing about that is that during the rut all the bucks come to my place to score on does :woot:
