Well a quick stop at the local bar/grille and I made my picks for tonight. My fiance and I are splitting the bottles while watching the fights. Anybody have any thoughts on the brews? We started off with the Flying Dog Under Dog Atlantic Lager... I found it to be an interesting brew from Flying Dog, but it lacked the typical flavor burst I have come to know from the brewery. Tiffany really enjoyed the taste and it has been her favorite so far. I would rate it at slightly above average. We next went to the Hop City Barking Squirrel. I am not a huge hop beer fan but I found it to be pretty good while Tiffany didn't find it to be that great, she also isn't a huge hop fan. We are now working on the Dogfish Head Continually Hopped India Pale Ale. I have had this brew before and love it. I am not sure why, but I find the hops to have more of a spice note than a flower note. Tiffany prefers it over the Barking Squirrel but not as much as the Flying Dog Under Dog. Next up will be the Bell Two Hearted Ale...
Love me some dogfish. the atlantic lager is rather bland imo. Im not much for black IPA's and stouts. Whats the beer in the middle?
