I used a decoy I purchased off ebay, it was cheap enough and I gave it a shot. Well when I got it, it was in fact a bruiser, it had a beautiful 10 points and I was a little worried to set it out as I had feared it would scare deer away, but I took my chances. Well to say the least I should have listened to my gut, cuz I'm in the stand early one morn with it out and in comes a nice 8, didn't even get close to him...stopped when he saw him about 20 yards west and stared, then darted away. I never used it again!! So it was resold on ebay. I would definitely think twice.
