Well, I believe I will be trying some wraps for next season, and so I set off to design myself a set. I'm going with an orange theme, as I shot fluorescent orange blazers and orange g-nocks, and I have an orange sight ring around my CJ sight:d I got this little guy mocked up in PS. Yes it's large, but I have the original at 300ppi to send to Onestringer, and I just scaled this to 72ppi to upload here...all dimensions stayed the same. It's 4"x.95". So...yay or nay?

Very, very cool! Maybe continue the "A" & "E" to the opposing edges, so that when its wrapped, they are both whole letters? (the bottom of the A placed above the 101st and the top of the E below airborne so they match up) Just a thought...

Yeah I re-sized it quickly, and didn't even catch that. Good thinking.

They overlap when applied too some, so compensate by dragging anything you want seen more into the middle. Also the more straight along the arrow your writing is, the more easily you will be able to read it and understand what it is.

I have drawn up a design or two for mine, but nothing that sophisticated...Nice work. I just went with a basic color to white fade with some logo, a few bands/stripes, and my name or Hoyt or something else similar.

One thing that makes em look saweet once shooting, is to match em to your string color combo, IMO anyway. I have red/white wraps and vanes and red/black strings. Wrist sling to match and my bow is blingin. :deer: If I upgrade strings this spring, I will get vanes/wraps to match the color combo. Just gives me something to do.

when you wrap it, will the words readable or will they wrap around so that it can't be read?

I shoot thin shafts (ACCS), so no, most likely all graphics and text will wrap around and won't be displayed on one side. I may or may not fix it for that. I'm not super concerned if you can't read it. In fact, I even mocked up the design without the lettering, and I will make the call on which one I want when I send it to Onestringer.

Trev, when I order new strings from Gibblet, I'm going with an orange/black combo as well. Should be sweet.

Matt, I like the lettering and the color scheme. Should look good if you carry it throughout the bow.

Just tell Mindy what EXACT arrow you are shooting, ACC along with the spine. She will get you an exact circumference size so you shouldn't have much overlap, if any! She was able to give me an exact circumference size for the Gold Tip CAA's, so I would imagine she can do the same for the specific spines of the ACC's too!

BTW, just got a few dozen from her today. Planning on wrapping them and fletching them up before the weekend. I'll post a picture when I get them done.
