Lookin good. I been wanting to plan a trip up there one day. Go scout in the summer for a week then find a place I can camp, maybe boat to the other side of a lake that would be pretty far from any roads and try to get on some deer over there. One day Im gonna. Good luck this year!

Thanks, unfortunatley the deer there will have atleast one more year to grow, fortunatly for me almost no one hunts it which is nice it allows deer to reach their full potential, unlike most NY places simply because as people go in the shoot the first deer they see, on another note you should definatley swing by my neck of the woods weve got a few camps set up and in the adirondack park, you can camp just about anywhere the deer are, rustic or non rustic, for rustic the DEC regulates that you move spots every three days, what that means is pick up your tent and move 15 feet in any direction and thats for more popular areas for less popular areas, it really has no restrictions as to how long you can stay set up in one spot.

Awesome yeah I have done a good bit of camping up there but always at camp grounds. Used to fish a lot of tournaments in NY and always lived out of a tent then. Id try to go for a camp ground only because I like to have some electric for things like the boat batteries and alarm clocks. Ill have to keep you in mind whenever I decide to head up maybe you can point me in a direction where Im not your competition but also probably wont have as many other hunters to worry about.

yeah definatley, theres a few places on the map that almost no body hunts and are loaded with "swamp donkeys", and i share the wealth im not picky on who hunts in or around my spots, we all share the same common goal, and luck and timing plays a key factor so i wouldnt view it so much as competion, id just be envious and congratulate you on what i wasnt lucky enough to get haha
