On my very first sit of the year I was able to tag out on a nice Wisconsin buck. It's a little bitter sweet for me. My favorite time of year to be in the stand is obviously during the rut. However, after a 2 year drought and a couple mishaps last season, it felt good to put a perfect shot on this deer and hear him crash 40 yards away. Hopefully I'll be able to get my fiance, brother, and dad on a deer yet this year. As well as fill the freezer up with several doe. As you can see from the video, there's a couple more good ones out there that we can chase!

Nice work, I once had a deer season that lasted less than an hour and a half.

Congratulations on a great buck, but there's no way my season would be over. Too many does out there and too many other states to go to that have multiple buck tags.

Season is NEVER over!. Ive been in your shoes even in 2 buck Illinois i filled both tags by mid October. Still enjoyed sitting with buddies and filming and also its fun to fall back on waterfowl and small game hunting. One thing i do hope is that there are unlimited buck tags in heaven

I more so meant for archery hunting in Wisconsin. I actually film hunts for a living and have already been to Wyoming, New York, and North Dakota this year. I meant for my personal archery season in Wisconsin.
