I thought you were going to say you got engaged. How did Thanksgiving go with her father anyways? Get to watch the game?

It is a shame a guy with such wit and sarcasm is a michigan fan.... You were born to be a Buckeye, something somewhere along the way went drastically wrong.... Poor fella.

I can see the "outsiders" don't understand. The people that buy this stock are not stupid, gullible, or naive. They understand they are not getting any monetary value with this stock. The reason people buy this stock is to support the franchise they love. It goes more deep than being a fan. The Green Bay Packers are publically owned by the community and are non-proffit so Tembry is off base.

This goes way beyond a football team. Wisconsin is the Packers and the Packers are Wisconsin. Again, I would not expect you to understand.

Sometimes I think the obsession goes too far.

I would compare it to people giving money to the athletic department of their favorite college football team in the south.

Heck, we have a solid college football team going to the Rose Bowl and guess who still holds all of the headlines? You guessed it, the Packers.

See, I told you no one cares about the Badgers...even in Wisconsin!

And the classification "nonprofit" does not mean the business doesn't make money.

Are you going to buy some of my stock, or not? Its going fast! Support our pockets, err, new stadium!

In some regards to the Badgers you are right Vito.

What difference does that make if they make money or not?

No, I'm not buying any stock. My money is more important than that. My obsession doesn't go that far.

I’m simply telling you why people buy the stuff. And I don’t fault them for doing so. It’s very important to them and they are proud of it. Good for them.

Sure, take all the fun out of it. Now we have to find something else to disagree on.

It doesn't. I just have the ability to find humor in just about any situation.

Its a good business move by the organization.

And for the record, this what I believe every Packer fan looks like. You cannot convince me otherwise. Its no wonder these pieces of paper sell so well to people who wear giant foam cheese on their head.

I came up with an even better description of these people. These people that are buying this stock are equivalent of boasters of College football programs.

Why not just give money to your favorite car company if you are a fan of a particular make? all the ford f150 fans could buy ford f150 stock.

This is a business that says "give us money because you are a fan" and people actually do? People already pay money to the team to advertise the team with "fan apparel" and now the team doesn't even want to give them clothes for their money? I guess this is better than threatening to move the team until the taxpayers agree to give them money. This only affects the people that would vote to give them taxpayer money. I think it is the union's fault though. If the players' union wasn't always jacking the owners up for more money then the owners wouldn't have to ask fans to give them money.

As a Packer fan from the Motherland, I'm ashamed you posted that first picture. Epic failure.
