Wow!!! it has really takin shape since you started this post.. Nice job Brad! What a nice place.. Now just have to harvest a few deer from those woods!!
So I worked on the meat pole and gate posts this weekend. I used asphalt roof sealer to seal up the treated telephone poles. That us some thick nasty stuff but it should help these poles last a long time. I started with this. And I finished with this. The two poles on the left are the vertical columns on the meatpole. The center pole is the horizontal piece. The two pokes on the right will be posts I will put in the ground to mount a driveway gate to. Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk
Here are the updated cabin pics. I slept in the cabin on a cot which was sweet not having to tent it anymore. Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk

LOL!! You beat me to it Tony! I was thinkin about asking him the same thing :D Very nice Brad. That place is sure looking sweet
Would you care to share what total building costs will be? This is a fantastic looking building - it's great to have goals! Having a number to shoot for would be helpful! I could live in that place full time! lol
Thanks everyone and you dean. I've meant to give you a shout when up there but it seems I'm just so darn busy on stuff there has been very little spare time. Sorry about that. Ill get with you yet. Just don't know when. Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk
Got the vertical sections of the meat pole sunk 4' into the ground and concreted today. Now just need to set the horizontal section. Never mind the garbage. The construction waste pile ended up where I wanted the meat poke. Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk
Really looking great Brad, imo you couldn't have invested in anything better for your life and family.
