I just found this thread, seems no one asked the obvious question: Brad, how did you become a millionaire?

    Ha! Yeah right.

Well here is how I did it. I do make a good living being in a pretty well-paying job that is stable. But the real key is that we are very frugal. We have not taken a vacation in 10 years, we don't waste money, we clip coupons, we drive older vehicles we don't have a big or expensive house at home, we saved every penny we could for many years and we purchased the land from a desperate seller that needed to get rid of it so we got a good deal.

The oldest and me have been working on building a wood duck house for the pond. I made the cuts in the garage and we nailed it together in the basement due to it being pretty chilly.

We will install this over the pond once the snow finally allows us to get back there. It's still too deep to drive the ATV. Hopefully some woodys will find it.

Nice...it's nice having your own land. I love it...nice place you have. I have a 101 acres here in Tennessee....but we don't get snow even close to that amount....WOW! I bet you love it.

Yeah. I picked up a small bag of cedar shavings. Will put an inch or so down.

I can't wait until I can have my own slice of heaven like this to share with my family and friends. I continue to be impressed with this thread and as always thanks for sharing.

The snow is still f-inch deep up north. Luckily a neighbor up there was kind enough to do what Mother Nature refuses to do naturally. Having good neighbors is a great thing.

We headed up this weekend with the family and had a wonderful weekend and got some work done. We got the shed cleaned out and organized which was a huge step.

My oldest got to shoot a BB gun for the first time. It is the same BB gun I had when I was a kid so it's 30 years old. He really enjoyed plunking with it.

I wanted to go for a walk and start scouting in the woods but the snow is still too deep to walk. So we turned around.

This is where we ended up at night.

I need to be hinge cutting and frost seeding but the snow just will not let us. There is another 4-8" of snow predicted on Saturday Night. I'm starting to feel the pressure of getting behind. Especially seeing everyone else posting about working on stuff already.

I don't have much to add right now since the snow is 3' deep. I have lots to do though. I thought we killed this thread. LOL
