Just found the thread and read all the way through. Love it. Exactly the sort of thing that I would love to have one day. Nice to see you living out your dream.

I will have all kinds of good stuff. Our first deer camp opens Thursday night and goes till the following Wednesday. Sure to be some kills and pictures. I'll post some inside pictures of the finished cabin now that we have a lot of stuff done. Sorry for slacking.

Sat in the Hemlock stand tonight. One of my favorite places to sit just for the view. It's not a bad place to see deer either.

Nothing recent. Not a single deer. They are all hunkered down since gun season started. Didn't see many tracks either. It really went dry after a day or two of the gun season.

Well my oldest, my good friend and his kid went up this weekend. There was too much snow to try and and get in the driveway

So we hand carried or put stuff on sleds to get in. It was 14 deg when we showed up. After getting a good fire going in the wood stove we went outside to play.

We turned in for the night. Had some drinks. The kids watched a movie and played some cards.

We still got today but it is -14 out right now so not sure we will hang outside much.

All in all a pretty good weekend. Now for some coffee.
