Dude I can't tell you how awesome that is! lol Congrats, apple don't fall far from the tree they say.
he is pulling back 20#s. It is illegal to have a native animal in TN as a pet. we were hunting 7 hours away from home. Thanks again for all the comments.
So you called them in to five yards with 4 people standing in the woods and one with a camera and they didn't notice a thing? Can I hunt with you?
The camera man was between 60-70 yards away. he zoomed in. we seen them moving up a ridge about 100 yards away. they would not respond to calling so we moved down about 200 yards infront of them and cut them off and they came in front of us. Yes the birds were stupid thank god
:hijack: Being from Mich-consin, I'm not a bit surprised!!!! Back on topic..... WOW, I'm just SPEECHLESS!!!! THAT IS JUST AWESOME!!!!!
Your son is indeed a skilled archer at a very early age. But those turkeys were far from "wild". The second bird merely trots off?? The very dark feathers with little or no mottling look just like the tame turkeys some friends of mine raise. No offense as you may have been in the wild but the turkeys were quite domestic. Wild jakes have more sense than that. Not that your son ever needs to know. A huge congrats to him.
Congrats to you and your son. I wish i could get away with an orange hat in the spring, hell i get spotted in full camo sometimes.
