THis is my 5 year old son! I said 5!!!! He harvested this 23lb tom with his mathew genesis bow at 8 yards! Made a perfect head shot! Which i have on video! what can i say, i'm a proud daddy! he also has 5 videos on youtube under the name archercarson! he shoots an egg at ten yards, a box out of the air, the turkey hunt, then he shot a 8 inch balloon OUT OF THE AIR at 15 yards! Then he upped the antie more and shot an apple out of the air! it's all on video! see it for yourself! he had only been shooting his bow for 3 months at the time of the videos! he practices everyday for hours! also he just made an awsome shot hitting a birthday candle! anyway enough rambling he's the pic

Archer, That is an admirable accomplishment. His shooting ability must be very advanced. I hope we are also instilling a value system for laws and ethics. A Genesis according to Florida Regs is not a legal means for harvesting Game. Bows must have a minimum of 35 lbs pull.

What you choose to do is not something for me to debate, but public admission of breaking the Law (with pics and videos) may open up a can of worms that could sour the young man before he reaches his Prime. Again Congrats on the teachings but be careful how much you brag even though his accomplishments may be hard to keep to yourself..

Four people STANDING in the woods less than 20 yards from two turkeys and you and your son less than 5 yards is pretty amazing in itself. I'm a skeptic, but nonetheless that is pretty impressive, congrats.

Impressive shooting for a 5 year old, but I think you are confusing yards with feet.
