I harvested my 2nd Turkey with a bow yesterday (11-4) Shot him at 35 yards, 7" beard, 7/8" spurs, 20 lbs. The Rage did the job! Hoyt performed awesome! My 1st fall bird as well.

2 days ago I saw 30+ turkeys in a group feeding on some alfalfa. I stalked them and got to 30 yards but since the turkeys were so smart and extremely hard to kill around here I couldn't get drawn without them noticing. Last night I was just sitting in my deer stand and had a group of 7 gobblers behind me at about 40 yards (which were all some of the ones i stalked the day before.) I only had a very small opening to shoot through but I was able to get drawn back right when the last one was walking through my shooting lane. I whistled at him to stop and released the trigger at 35 yards. He only went about 60 yards and piled up. I got down, drug him back to my stand and stashed it in some nearby bushes and climbed back in the stand for the last 40 minutes of hunting.

Well done sir. That's a dream hunt.

People say they wouldn't ruin a deer hunt to shoot a turkey but you handled that well.

Nice bird. I'd of done the same.
