I got my buck from last year back at the end of May, just kept forgetting to post pics of him. I am really pleased with how he turned out. The taxidermist did a great job.
I had pics of him the year before at almost the exact spot that I killed him last year. I think that my wife shot him with her rifle on his left side and he of course ended up surviving. Then last year he started growing all this junk and looking crazy, but I like him better now than when he was a mainframe 8.
Yes, it sure is. I don't know if my taxidermist used a different type of form, but this deer looks a little different than any other semi sneaks that are in the house. Either way, I really like how it turned out.
That has to be one of the coolest-looking racks I've ever seen. Congratulations, and great-looking mount too.

I gross scored him the day after I killed him. I never scored him again after that. If I remember right it was 160 3/8.
Thanks Tony. Good to hear from you, it's been too long. That was an amazing evening, I'll never forget walking up to that deer and holding that rack for the first time. Hopefully this year will be as good. If a certain buck that I saw last year made it through then I might have a chance to hunt a Booner. We shall see.
