This was my smallest deer antler wise in the past 5 years but my heaviest by far. He weighed in at 308 pounds without his head and cape and scored right on 140". I had both sides of his sheds from the past 3 years and new he was a mature bjcm that was never going to be a jaw dropper in the headgear department. With the drought the local bucks were only going to reach around 90% of their antler potential, so harvesting a deer over 150" would be a tough decision because of the "what ifs?".
very nice, sir...very nice. my bro in law got a buck this past rifle season that weighed about that. thinkin it was 295 or so....but it only scored in the low 120's. congrats on an awesome buck brother!
