I could add a lot of story to this, but that's not my place. I will say that we took our bucks to the same taxidermist. Aaron took his in the week after I dropped mine off. He got his back over a month ago and I'm still waiting for mine.
Ouch! Well, this fellow doesn't take on a big workload. When I dropped mine off he said three to six months. We are now coming up on 10 months. I can accept that, but it's irritating when someone you know drops his deer off a week after you and gets his back a month and a half or more before you.
here is the rest of the story. during bow seaon last year i had a near fatal accident with a crossbow. so couldn't hunt for awhile. then my dad passed a few days before thankgiving i spent two weeks with him befre hand and couldn't hunt. so, thanksgiving being my first hunt since the accident i went behind my in-laws house. they have maybe a 50 x 100 yard stretch of woods. the deer uprooted my father-in- law's plum tree so he said he wanted them killed. being more than happy to oblige i went. well, there was a shot at about 6:45 and this guy came out at7. the rest is history. i thank god for him because it lifted my spiirit and made me feel like my dad was looking down on me with one last gift that i have tryed for for many years.
