Well this is what I have to show after 26 miles of walking in 4 days total. The first head I tripped over cutting through the marsh. It took me 30 minutes to chip the ice away with a leatherman to get antlers freed( I dont leave any Antlers behind).

My only fresh shed of the season found 1-2-11 (4 point)
    .

This is my second shed I found(5 point). I must of walked by this guy last season or he shedded late. That is his rub in the picture.

The shed has been eaten pretty bad.

This is my 3rd shed a little guy I missed for 2 seasons.

This is a monster Dead Head I found. I have not scored him yet.The pictures dont do him any justice he is a slammer.

Nice! That last one is a beaut! To bad it's a dead head and not sheds. :( You sure did a lot of walking to find those! Were they all private land bucks?

Hopefully you can get a shot at the buck that left behind that 5pt shed. :tu:

awesome finds! it's always nicer to have harvested that big buck, but it's fun too find something like that in the woods, makes for a good display somewhere.

Thanks Tim!! The shed and the head were found about 45 miles apart so not likely the same.

All were on private land. I have shed hunting permission but not able to hunt the property yet! The property is mostly horse pasture with a small woodlot and marsh on it. I would love to hunt the property but the owners enjoy watching the deer while they drink their morning coffee!! :bash:
