In NY, you get another buck tag that you can fill starting the opener of the rifle season (11/20 this year). I'm betting he's gonna be back after him with a bow during rifle season.........just a hunch.

Thank you very much everyone for the congrats! Much appreciated. Lol yeah they probably do look better without my ugly mug in them. As far as being your hunting hero? Lol I'm just lucky bro. Right place... right time. And fortunate to have a lot of time to be in the woods which gives me a better chance of running into a good buck. I chalk it up to dumb luck. Rather be lucky than good though right? We have to get together and hunt! P.S. Thanks for the heads up about not tagging out too early Thanks again everyone for the congrats. I'm pretty pumped. The earliest I can remember using my buck tag. Not sure what to do with myself now lol. Going to try everything in my powers to put the kid on some deer.
