Well after almost a year it is finally home andi couldnt be more pleased with how it turned out. I did some searching before i settled on this taxi to do the mount. He has some awards under his belt for birds, he's not outrages in pricing $425.00 with out a base and he has his own freeze drying operation for the heads. I made my own base and Habitat and had built it about 4 months ago waiting on the bird to be finished. I got it home and mated it to the base so here it is!!! Some may not remember, but i know alot of you do, that i had won this hunt with Heartland bowhunter last year in there field staff membership drawing as well as all kinds of gear with it. It was a trip ill never forget and I made some awesome friends while i was there.

    What a sick mount!

I honestly like the base you made BETTER than the bird, and thats saying something since that bird seems to be good quality.....that base is freakin sweet!

How long did it take you to put together something like that?

Dan actually makes the rocks himself. He has made several over the years and they are awesome!

Dink, the bird looks great! What an awesome way to preserve the memories!
