Don't listen to your friends, if they weren't getting good arrow flight it was because of poor tuning most likely. I shoot Mx3's and other muzzy's as well. There is a reason they have been around so long, they are high quality broad heads. I would recommend using the practice blades that come with them and make sure they are hitting where your field tips are hitting but other than that you should be good to go.

I assume your friends are young like you? If your bow is tuned they will fly fine, same with all fixed blade heads. I used Muzzy heads for over 10 years and never had an issue. I use QAD now, mainly just because I wanted to try something new and they do seem a little tougher than the Muzzy heads. But I would not hesitate to hunt with Muzzy again.

But you'll be fine unless your bow is way out of whack.

+1 recommending Muzzy MX series broadheads and +1 to the bow tuning for ANY broadhead.

I didn't really have to adjust much with mx-3 ,they definitely did the job on him from 33 yards IMG]//images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/07/18/6e3f7b055ed9b1eec98cb49aa062636f.jpg[/IMG]

Shot mx-3's after a paper tune I could get them to fly good. That's without broadhead tuning.
