Just a few words on this years success with the Muzzy MX-3 broadheads. After taking the time to properly tune the bow for fixed blade flight i couldnt be more happy. I have been fortunate enough to take 2 deer with the mx-3 this season. A 7pt and a doe. On both occasions tracking was not necessary for they fell within sight of the stand. The attached pic was from a clean pass-thru and 6" of arrow buried in to the ground. Just wanted to share my experience so far.

I have hunted with the MX-3's the last two years but have not been lucky enough to harvest a deer with one. These are the posts that make me feel a lot better about my decision to stick with fixed blades! :)

I too am hunting with muzzy mx3's. I harvested my first whitetail on 9/21/12. My situation was very similar straight pass through arrow buried 4 inches in the dirt opposite side of deer. She ran 25-30 yards and fell over dead in sight. I'm very happy with the mx3 performance. It was a 15 yard quartering slight quartering away shot right in the pump house. :) uploadfromtaptalk1350331170111.jpg

I have a pack of these, love them, but using the killzones.
My brother is actually using them.

They fly great though, at 60 yards they were grouping right with my field points. For a fixed blade they have a lot of cutting surface as well

Also, for $20 at walmart, you just can't beat that
