I was shopping this weekend for a new broadhead and figured I would give Muzzy a try. I noticed there are 2 different types, the MX-3 and the standard 3 blade. It looks like the MX is shorter overall and a wider cut at
1-1/4". Is one better than the other in regards to accuracy or strength?

Shot the old Muzzy 3 blade last year. Very accurate and had good success with them. Giving the Mx-3's a try this year. I haven't shot anything with them yet but they fly accurate even though it seems more people have accuracy problems with the MX line. They're some tough broadheads. You'll just have to give them a try.

Even though I switched to rage I wouldn't hesitate to use the Muzzy 3 blades. Once you get them dialed in they shoot extremely well. I even had mine shooting with my field points.

I shoot muzzy 3 blade and I've had good luck. I highly recommend them. This year I'm going to try the 4 blade 1" inch cutting dia.:nana:

I ended up buying a 6 pack of the 3 blade muzzys. They seem pretty nice, though I think I have a bad one. I can't get the tip to lock on. Just keeps spinning so I put the practice blades in it and it locks fine. O'well, I was going to use 3 for practice and 3 for the field anyway. Gonna give them a try tonight in the backyard.

The Muzzy 3 blade 100gr has been my choice for years. Great broadhead! :tu:

Be sure that you spin balance them on the shaft. If they align properly either one should perform well.

Im using the MX-3 and they fly almost identically to my field tips. I also purchased a new Bear this year and its tuned and dialed in amazingly, so i think that helps alot too.
