Ive used both and they are both a solid broadhead,Its just all about shot placement. But i will say i had issues with the 4 blade flying a little corkscrew like.

Go get yourself a set of standard slick tricks. You won't be disappointed.

good broadhead. shot deer and bear with the mx-3. fly good, but am going back to the slicktrick standards this season. awesome head and seems just a little sharper than the mx-3, plus flys great also. but the mx-3 is a good broadhead.

I personally shoot Grim reapers, but if I had to shoot fixed blades... Slick Tricks or Muzzy's would be my ONLY 2 choices.. Something about a broadhead that has been proven time and time again for being a very reliable, tough, easy to replace blade broadhead !!!! There is a reason they are still on the shelves after this long, and not pulled and closed down company..

I have been using the Muzzy 3 blade since they started making them. They do the job and have never failed me. Well over a hundred kills with them. Many of the heads have been used for multiple kills.

And... the blades can be resharpened unless they are damaged. I shoot three and four bladed and both are durable, accurate heads with a near zero chance of blade loss.

Ill be doing the same except im using the magnum 125grs. I like them better than the muzzys I was using last year. The Slicktricks are built so much stronger and you dont have the threads on the front to break(which I did, I broke 3 before the season even started) so STs it is for me this year. Im excited to see the "slug holes" they produce.

I use muzzies and I have no complaints. When it comes to things that simply must work every time, its best to keep it simple.

Muzzys are the one thing you can always depend on while bow hunting

I just took my first deer ever and used the original muzzy 3 blade 100 grains. The blades are trashed, but they are cheap to replace. And as stated previously, I bought a 6 pack on eBay for the same as a 3 pack of any other broadhead. Mine flew exactly where I was aiming and was a clean shot straight through. Entrance and exit wounds looked like someone cut a triangle piece of skin off the sides. He made it about 20 yards before collapsing. I have to say that they do the trick.

Muzzy's are great for deer! Even with a low poundage.

I've shot a dozen or more deer with Muzzy's over the years and never had a problem. I am going back to the standard 3 blade Muzzy's this year and expect the same results. I have been using Magnum 2 blade broadheads the past couple of years. I like them but they are extremely difficult to sharpen.

Every Deer I've hit with a Muzzy 3 or 4 blade are dead. Idk what other proof you need. I also say that it doesn't really matter what you shoot these days, if you have a great shot with a fine tuned bow you won't have a problem. I think it's never the Bhs fault, it's the shooter.
