So my buddy shot a doe last month with one of these..couldnt find the deer anywhere....swears it was a good shot...not to much, blood...never found the deer after a day of looking..

2 weeks ago..he has the same problem....freaking out because this is the second deer he has been unable to find...i feel very bad for him...but its not like we werent tryin to find her...we search up and down for 100's of yards..in these areas....

this is all using a muzzy 4 blade...so he says screw it...went to walmart two nights ago and bought some rages 2 blade...

Shot a buck last night...the entry /exit hole was huge....dropped the buck in his tracks, and he says he hit the two doe better than this buck....

He said he will never go back and stick to these broadheads...i told him to get them...since i seen what they have done in the past..

What do you guys think about muzzy 4blades.....i know alot of people use muzzy's...so ?......

I have lost 1 doe in 4 years. the doe i lost was shot very low, not the muzzys fault. I will cont. to shoot muzzy 4 blade very tough to beat. I might try out slick trick broadheads if any.

I think that in 99.99999999999% of the cases of a lost animal, it NOT the broadheads fault, and to blame the head, not once, but twice is VERY foolish.

Ok....so to think that every broadhead out there is 100 percent legit, I think thats foolish?..

Im not sparking any thing up Rybo, he question the fact that he put legit shots on the deer...which he though were pretty clean hits...

foolish or not, i would question whether its me or the broadhead not doing its job...

It could have been him , since i wasnt there when he shot it. However, I know my buddy and i know he knows hunting. He has been bowhunting all his life, and would tell me straight up if he didnt take an ethical shot attempt or not..

I know muzzy has a good reputation, and thats why i was asking the questions about muzzy 4 blade broadheads...if anyone has ever had this problem or not...

Im just starting convo here..nothing personal.

You can drop a deer in its tracks with a Muzzy too ..... I watched my Ma's husband to just that with a well placed heart shot -- The doe dropped into a bedded postion & thats all she wrote............

Details on shot , angles , distance , pass thru , How did the arrows look ??????

I lost a buck a few years ago & to this day - I am still in shock........ IDK what happened... I spent (7 hours x 2 guys ,, in a 1/4 mile block of timber) --- We boogered up the whole area BADLY to find my deer !!!!

I never saw any eagles/crows or anything in the area afterwards so ,,, I doubt the buck died in my area .............
