I'm in the market for a muzzleloader. I plan on expanding my hunting over the next few years, and may be interested in taking the muzzy out west at some point in time.

I want something that's deadly accurate and reliable. From what I hear, the TC Encore might be the way to go.

    Any suggestions?

I was recently given a muzzleloader but when I buy one (in the next year or two) I will likely get a CVA Accura V2.

Nothing against TC and I like the Encore very much but I will go with the Bergara barrel.

I like the encore as well. It's proven and veristile if you ever want to go wkth a different barrel.

    ^^ This x2!

One of these is on my list as well, Savage 10 ML-I and 10 ML-II(they shoot smokeless powder though something to consider).

There are a lot of good ones. All those mentioned are up there. I have the Omega and love it. It's cheaper and shoots lights out. I have a Nikon scope on it. Really couldn't ask for anything more accurate. I hunt in thick woods with ranges usually under 100 yards... but this thing is good beyond that. It's fun and reliable. Really, how much are you going to use it.... that's the big question. I see no need in buying the Big name hyped gun to use once or twice a year. Hell, I'm going to give mine to a nice young guy that lives near me. I haven't shot mine in a couple years. If you're looking to shoot way out there in open country you may want to drop down to a 45 Cal. I have the 50

Inlines are no fun...especially with a scope on em...just another high powered rifle now a days......get yourself a Cap or a Flinter that shoots a patched round ball and you will have some serious fun shooting! JMO!

Thanks for the input guys. Those CVAs look like something to consider!

CVA ACCURA V2 Is the SHIZ!!! shoot one and you won't spend the extra coin for an overpriced Thompson and get a ML just as good ...

If you want something you can change from muzzleloader to high power rifle to shotgun go with the Encore. If you just want a muzzleloader go with a Omega or the Triumph!
