Stupid turkeys are back. I don't have turkey around in the spring but seems every summer come July and August a flock with 2-3 hens with all the young ones move in. Pisses me off when the drama queens parade thru the food plot with the ruckus and drama.
That's a good sign for deer movement. Idk why you'd be mad about that?! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Stupid Turkeys and their stupid amazing eye sight. Yeah, I scratched my nose in my tree stand, I guess I thought 50 yards away you wouldn't see me. I was wrong. stupid turkey.
All fun and games till they stroll through your freshly planted fall plot and scratch up 85% of the seed too.
I have plenty of deer movement, it is not uncommon to have 10-12 does on and around the plot during a sit, when the ugly drama queens show up with the drama the deer react and move off a little or just leave to return later after the turkeys have moved on.
Hey Dogfish, what landfill was that, not that I am interested in the turkeys just wondering about the landfill. I have probably been there.
Meh, we have a fall turkey(archery) season that runs concurrent with our archery season. I'll shoot one if I get a chance.
Yup... I love those early season, Missouri morning fly down's. They get your heart pumpin' for sure!!!
Ya dude and the weather says hunt hunt hunt right now!! This morning was almost cold!!! Lol Sent from my SM-G955U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Man, didn't know there were so many turkey haters out there... or is it because you are all so impatient for season to start? I know that I am getting pretty edgy myself.
I find that the deer on my property don't mind turkeys at all. They often mingle in the same field for a while. I think they know that the turkeys can't harm them. Spring turkey season is a blast. Love it. Great tasting bird Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
