So, I dont musky fish, and up til yesterday I only ever caught 1 and it wasnt big, maybe 24". But I finally got a decent one! Im sure some look at one like this as just ok, but to be it was a giant! As a bass fisherman who is used to getting fired up over a 20", 5lb fish, something like this was very cool! Im used to judging bass sizes, and can come with in a half inch and half pound with them, but musky is a bit out of my norm. Im pretty sure Im low balling, but I figure him to be at least 35", and 15lb+. Looks small with a fat guy like me behind him, but I promise he was big!

Caught that out in Tioga co on a lake called Cowanesque. Pretty decent little lake man, Ive only gone twice now but it has treated me good both times. Havent been able to get on numbers of fish, but quality for sure.

I fished Little Mud Pond and Fairview lake last weekend. Didnt do good at Fairfiew but caught em on the pond. Still havent made it to Pack, should have went there not Fairview but was worried it would be to busy...dumb move lol.

lg_091903031704.jpg cmonsta, you probably pretty close on the weight. From what I know, they are a little lighter at this time of year, they haven't been bulking up yet. I caught my one an only legal a number of years ago, 40" and 20#.

Sure did! Man when it hit and the first flash of color I got, thought I had a record smallie because I wasnt expecting a musky at all...but didnt take long to realize smallies are strong, but not that strong lol

He was fat, thats kinda why I dont feel the picture does it justice. So if hes on the thin side Id be blown away to see it in its prime! And man the head on yours is insane! Looks so huge!

Ahh I see. I haven't had time to do much fishing at all. It's just work work work. But my buddy has a boat we should be heading out on the pack for some smallies soon. All my buddies have been hammering the carp with the bows though
