Outlaw Fest this Saturday at Bethel Woods. ZZ Top, Willie Nelson, some country guy my daughter wants to see and a couple others. Hoping for decent weather we will bi in the field.
Holy crap what a show, had 2 warm up bands so it was late got home at 1 back out of the driveway at 4:45, was worth it had a great time. I am getting too old to go on 2-1/2 hours of sleep. Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band rocks as well.
We are going to Red Rocks in September to see Tyler Childers, My wife and myself, and our son. It will be on our anniversary, not romantic at all but it will be really fun. I can not imagine a better place to see Tyler for the first time, plus Red Rocks is bucket list.
Red Rocks is pretty epic and I can't think of any other artist I'd rather go back there to see than Tyler. You'll have a blast.
Going to see Tyler on Sept 29 going to have to stay a couple extra days because Cody Jinks is playing on Oct 1.
Tonight we are going to see Earth, Wind, & Fire, and Santanna... I hope to get a good pit going during E, W, & F when they are blasting out "September" LOL but seriously, the lawn passes allow us to see bands we would never normally go and see.
Bought tickets for both shows today paid an obscene amount $ 2100 for 3 tickets to both concerts. Bucket list worth every penny. Funny thing is it is our anniversary but also the anniversary of my son's failed marriage (not his fault) might as well celebrate the union that got us all here.
Now here is something we see eye to eye on. I've never been to a concert in my life unless you count the one time I took my wife to the Grand Ol' Opry for our anniversary.
You have to enjoy life, I have miles and points to cover the hotel and rental car, sorry not sorry I am going to enjoy the better things in life. Flying first class getting a premium rental car and a hotel suite, complied points and mies for years for events like that,
My not going to concerts has nothing to do with price or money. I simply have no desire to stand or sit in screaming throngs of people to watch someone perform music I can enjoy in studio quality in the privacy of my home or in my truck. It's just me and my way of thinking, and it probably has a lot to do with the fact that I hate being in crowds of people. I'll enjoy life my way, you enjoy life your way and we'll both be happy.
I’m pretty sure I didn’t do that. I certainly wouldn’t criticize anyone for doing something I have no interest in doing.
Super pumped for Rage tomorrow with my son! We plan on getting to the city in the early afternoon because we want to go to ground zero first.
